I am a wildlife biologist, based in the biodiverse state of California. Looking for and photographing wild animals and the places they live is one of my favorite hobbies and I get out into the field a lot, as this website makes clear. My favorite subjects to photograph are birds, reptiles, and amphibians, but I also photograph anything else in the natural world that I encounter and finding interesting.

I have been passionate about animals and the natural world since I was a child and it was not very long until I got my first camera. Ever since then, I have been photographing all of the wildlife and vistas I come across as I explore the world's natural landscapes. For me, nature photography is a way of not only capturing and preserving the wonderful moments I experience during my outdoor adventures but also a means of learning about the natural world. This website is meant to showcase the best of my nature photography, as well as share it with others. Through my photos, I hope to share the passion and enthusiasm that I have for wildlife with others and help people to be more caring towards the natural world. Now more than ever, we need to care for nature and give back to it, and that is only possible if we come to realize just how wonderful and amazing the natural world really is.
